Surveyor
As a Surveyor you will plan and execute differing sized projects and manage deadlines. You will have a thorough understanding of the application of Health and Safety and QA and must be able to work methodically using your initiative to problem solve and liaise with clients when necessary.
You should have the ability to communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner and brief other members of the survey team. The ability to resolve problems and recognise if these are within your ability to solve or to refer to more senior staff is essential for this role.
You will assist the management team with tenders, plan/prepare projects, and produce RAMS and be responsible for your own data collection and processing.
Surveyor C1
- Can execute and process small projects, unsupervised
- 1 + years’ experience in any measurement discipline
- Formal education in measurement science or comparable industry experience that provides knowledge of survey fundamentals and their practical application in a commercial environment, commensurate with this experience level
- Experience of Trimble software and hardware beneficial but not essential
Surveyor C2
- Can execute and process moderate sized projects with multiple service types whilst supervising team members. A project/site lead role expected
- 3 + years’ experience in any measurement discipline
- A degree in measurement science or comparable industry experience that provides the knowledge of survey fundamentals and their practical application in a commercial environment, commensurate with this experience level
- Experience of Trimble software and hardware beneficial but not essential
Surveyor C3
- Can execute and process large (week plus duration) projects with multiple service types whilst supervising team members, without managerial support. Must show attributes of leadership
- 5 + years’ experience in any measurement discipline
- A degree in measurement science or comparable industry experience that can prove a knowledge of survey fundamentals and their practical application in a commercial environment commensurate with this level of experience
- Experience of Trimble software and hardware beneficial but not essential
Essential
- Have experience of AutoCAD
- Understand calibration and maintenance regimes for survey equipment
- Be proficient in preparing project data packs
- Have experience of survey data processing
- Full UK driving license
Desirable
- Have experience/be proficient in control installation, traversing and detailing, GNSS observations.
- Have experience/be proficient in carrying out GPR survey and reporting.
- Have experience/be proficient in carrying out all aspects of Cat and Gen utility tracing
- Have experience/be proficient in N4CE
