We are looking for hardworking and committed individuals to work as part of a civils team to carry out drainage repairs and installations. You will be working a 45-hour week with lots of overtime opportunities, and you would also be part of the on-call Rota.

As a ganger it is important that you can take the lead ensuring that projects are delivered within the required timeframe and be confident in completing daily safety documents, inspections, and records.

Civils Operative – Plympton, Exeter and Bodmin

We currently have opportunities for Civils Operatives in Devon based from our Plympton depot, Greendale (Exeter) depot and Bodmin depot to work as part of the civils reactive teams to carry out drainage repairs and installations.

Ideally, we are looking for those with experience in utility work, preferably in sewer repairs and maintenance, however we are open to applications from those that are interested in working in manual labour, in an outdoor environment.

We are currently looking for an experienced Pipe Lining Operative to work within our civils team, based at our Plympton depot, to undertake this role in drainage rehabilitation works for our key clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in utility work specifically sewers repair and maintenance and have substantial training and experience at installing CIPP liners and patches using varying methods.

Transport & Workshop Manager – Plympton

We currently are looking for an experienced Transport & Workshop Manager, based at our Plympton depot to manage and maintain our fleet and equipment. Working 0700 – 1700 Monday to Friday, Glanville Environmental look to offer a competitive package for this role.

The successful canditate for this role will ideally have a proven track record of working in transport, experience with vehicle and driver compliance management, a CPC Transport Managers Certificate with a minimum of 3 years' experience and excellent management and communication skills.

Payroll Clerk – Lee Mill

We are currently looking for a Payroll Clerk to work within our finance team, based at our head office in Lee Mill. The successful candidate to have at least 1-2 years’ experience in a payroll focused role, with the ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you'll need to engage with colleagues across the whole of the organisation and be able to work under pressure.

This role would involve working a 40-hour week Monday to Friday, however we could consider a candidate to take up the role part time.

This is a hands-on role where enthusiasm and flexibility will be key as is being able to work on their own initiative and as part of a small team.

Process Coordinator – Bodmin

We are currently looking for a Process Coordinator, based at our Bodmin depot. The successful candidate will undertake the role of co-ordination of the workflow for our reactive contract with one of our principle clients, ensuring all information is capture accurately and managed within the company IT systems.

This role will in turn then manage the flow of information throughout the finance team relating to the contract and through to the operations team.
