Commercial Assistant (NSA) – Stenalees

We are currently looking for a Commercial Assistant (NSA) based at our Stenalees (St Austell) depot. The successful candidate will undertake the role of data input to the finance systems, review/audit of financial information input by others and monitor of costs for labour plant & materials for the contract being worked on.

Working with and alongside an experienced team and interacting with other parts of the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for, and have the ability to, undertake the following key activities and responsibilities:

This role will see you entrusted with the following key activities and responsibilities:

  • Use of computer software, predominantly Microsoft Office but also various job management systems to review work/repairs carried out, monitor/input data and confirm calculated financial targets.
  • Interact with client’s computer systems in entering and interrogating information to facilitate auditing of ongoing works and ensuring the companies continued financial success.
  • Ideally would have experience in utilities, preferably in water & sewage, including the operational management style of the industry.
  • Dynamic and pro-active approach to working, while assisting the team delivering the work effectively and efficiently.
  • Have the ability to work as part of a fast-paced team or solo being self-motivated to succeed, dealing with reactive works, SLAs and hitting key contract KPIs.
