We have an exceptional opportunity for an Operations Senior Coordinator to join our dynamic division in Exeter. We are seeking a dedicated professional to work closely with our planned civils team, making a meaningful impact on our day-to-day operations.
As an Operations Senior Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with clients to gather essential information and input it into our sophisticated management system.
- Providing invaluable support to the project team by compiling, booking, and coordinating Streetworks permits.
- Creating meticulously organised job folders for our site teams.
- Allocating tasks to tablets used by our site staff via our advanced management system.
- Effectively scheduling jobs and maintaining an up-to-date planner, adapting to changes as needed, and managing the short to medium-term program.
- Coordinating with our dedicated operatives, ensuring they receive accurate job details for successful completion.
- Ensuring job folders are consistently updated with feedback from our site staff.
- Utilising computer software, primarily Microsoft Office, to generate and manage reports, raise requests, and maintain closure information.
- Collaborating with Estate Departments to secure access to third-party land.
- Utilising C.A.D. for basic as-built and estate drawings.
- Interacting collaboratively with various departments within our organisation and our suppliers to facilitate the efficient delivery of projects.
- Liaising with the project team to efficiently close out projects using client-specific systems.
- Coding and cross-referencing weekly timesheets.
- Handling general administrative duties, such as PPE and stationery orders.
- Providing invaluable administrative support to the team.

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- Ideally, previous experience in a similar role within the utilities or construction sector.
- A dynamic and proactive work approach, complemented by the ability to assist the project team in delivering work effectively and efficiently.
- Self-directed and highly organised, with a proactive mindset.
- Preferred industry-related qualifications.
- Some experience with Computer-Aided Design (C.A.D.).
- A collaborative team player with strong organisational skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
- Proficiency in computer applications, combined with strong written and verbal communication skills.
