HGV Mechanic/Fitter – Plympton

Glanville Environmental is a well-established drainage and civil engineering company that has been successfully operating for over 30 years in the South-West region. With a growing portfolio of clients and multiple long-term contracts, we are experiencing exponential growth and are looking for a range of personnel to join our family-owned business.

We have recently invested in a fantastic new 4-bay workshop including an HGV inspection pit, break tester, and lorry lift and we are now looking to expand our team and have an opportunity for an HGV Mechanic/Fitter to be based from this exciting new depot.

We are looking for a self-motivated and reliable individual, that can:

• Undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Diagnose and fault find on vehicles and trailers.
• Complete Vehicle inspections.
• Complete general servicing and pre-planned maintenance.as well as reactive maintenance.
• Complete MOT preparation.
• Undertake small plant maintenance and repairs.
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
