Class 2 HGV RORO Hookloader/Grab Lorry Driver

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Class 2 HGV RORO Hookloader/Grab Lorry Driver to join our dynamic team based at the Plympton Depot. This role involves working across Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset.

The ideal candidate will have an up-to-date CPC driver card. Additional qualifications, such as NRSWA (Street Works) certification and a valid CSCS card, are highly advantageous.

As an HGV RORO Hookloader driver at Glanville Environmental, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and driving Class 2 HGV vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Adhering to all relevant road traffic regulations and safety protocols.
  • Conducting routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Utilising RORO flatbed unit to move plant to and from sites
  • Utilising RORO container to move waste or materials to and from sites.
  • Providing cover for Grab Lorry driver

The position entails working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, being part of our client-centred 24/7 reactive service. This means that occasional participation in a call-out rota and willingness to work overtime will be essential, rewarded with enhanced overtime rates.
