Joanna joined the Glanville Environmental team in 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in HR leadership and strategic people management across multiple sectors. Her background is particularly unique, having served in the Royal Navy and worked within engineering environments, which gives her a strong understanding of both operational and people-focused challenges.

At Glanville, Jo plays a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy, driving initiatives that support employee development, enhance engagement, and foster a positive, inclusive culture across the business. Her approach combines strategic vision with a genuine passion for helping individuals and teams thrive.
Outside of work, Jo enjoys spending quality time with her family, ideally by the sea and is an active participant in Cornish Gig rowing, a sport that reflects her love for teamwork and resilience.
