Drainage & Sewer works

Our highly experienced specialist civil engineering division are approved by relevant water authorities to carry out pipeline and manhole alterations, replacements, connections, and removals.

From new drainage connections to burst water mains through to large pipeline installations and divisions, we can provide fully certified skilled personnel to carry out the works to industry specifications and standards, ensuring that the job is completed to the highest standards.

Sewer Rehabilitation

Trenchless technology is a type of subsurface construction work that requires few trenches or no continuous trenches and can be defined as

“a family of methods, materials, and equipment capable of being used for the installation of new or replacement or rehabilitation of existing underground infrastructure with minimal disruption to surface traffic, business, and other activities.”

We offer three different varieties of trenchless technology, including –

CIPP – Cured in place pipe

A resin-saturated felt tube made of polyester is inverted or pulled into a damaged pipe. The liner can be inverted using water or air pressure and is left to cure either ambiently, by heating, or using our new UV technology system.

Either full-length or patch liners are available with various grades, thicknesses, and resin types being available to tailor for all eventualities and structural issues.

Pipe Bursting

Pipe bursting is a trenchless method of replacing buried pipelines (such as sewer, water, or natural gas pipes) without the need for a traditional construction trench. “Launching and receiving pits” replace the trench needed by conventional pipe-laying and a bursting head is pulled through the existing pipeline while towing a new pipe into place. This method can also be used to increase the size of an existing pipeline depending on the surrounding ground conditions.

Resin Patch repair

Resin Patch is used to repair localised cracks in a pipe, instead of replacing the full pipe. The patch is placed over the break and cured by using a rubber packer which is inverted by air and then allowed to cure. Once cured the packer is removed leaving you with a usable pipe.

Manhole Construction

Manhole construction is the building of new manholes and inspection chambers for maintenance and inspection purposes within the utility industry.

They are constructed where there is a change of direction and/or a change of gradient, or where access is required. They are constructed from a range of materials.
