Confined Space Search & Rescue

Glanville Environmental has unrivalled experience in confined space working. Our confined space working teams are trained to the very highest City & Guilds/SQA standards, and where traversing is required our crews can be supported by our fully City & Guilds/SQA certified in-house rescue teams.

It is becoming more widespread that any difficult access, traversing, or confined space work requires additional support from dedicated site rescue teams. It is no longer an option within safe working procedures to rely on emergency services as the only form of rescue.

Our in-house fully certified dedicated rescue standards utilise the latest equipment and technology the market has to offer.

We also offer a safe working risk assessment and method statement production service fully compliant with current legislation, ensuring that the safest possible working environment is achieved. Our managers are certified to the very highest 6150-61 City & Guilds Management standards enabling them to be fully authorised and compliant to prepare and sign off documented risk assessments and method statements.

Asset Mapping

Asset mapping is used in drainage area studies that form a solid basis for sewer modelling and testing hydraulic efficiency.

This information can be invaluable for planning system extension, evaluating flood risk, and planning remedial work and maintenance programmes for drains and sewers.

Specialising in drainage projects including but not limited to:

  • Impermeable Area Survey
  • Drainage mapping/manhole surveys
  • Gully surveys
  • Misconnections

For projects that require geographical data and analysis our Geospatial division will cover all other areas.
