Drainage Installation and Car Park Repairs

The problem
St Ivel Plc contacted Glanville Environmental and requested a site visit regarding a continual problem with poor yard drainage and concrete damage that required repairs at their factory in Langage, Plympton.

The solution
Glanville Environmental attended the site and made recommendations to cut out and remove all the damaged concrete areas, remove and replace defective drainage with new yard gullies connected to an oil interception drain. Fibre reinforced concrete was used to repair the damaged areas of the yard. All areas were protected with steel road plates for two weeks after completion of the work to minimise damage to the new concrete from heavy vehicles.

The result
The site now has a fully operational drainage system that will help to protect the new concrete from becoming damaged in the future.
