No Dig Solutions Case Study

The problem

Dean & Dyball contacted Glanville Environmental regarding a continuing problem of damage to underground oil recovery systems in various train maintenance depots throughout the South West region. Following on from our successful contracts in Penzance, Plymouth and Exeter depots we were asked to repair the drainage in Bournemouth’s L.M.D depot.

The solution

Working from CCTV and reports compiled by Network Rail, we attended the site and proceeded to clean the existing lines within the depot, further highlighting the damaged areas with CCTV and repairing them with patch lining methods.

The result

Approx 36 repairs were carried out over a two week period. All works were checked on completion with CCTV, and a full report complete with a DVD recording of the repairs was submitted to the client. The repairs were all carried out using the latest No Dig Solutions, which in turn minimised the need for  excavations, causing minimal disruption to the depot.
