Pitch Fibre Pipe Relining Case Study

The problem

The National Trust property Anthony House was experiencing blockages in their sewer pipe runs due to them becoming badly deformed over time, this put the house at risk from flooding. Glanville Environmental were called to survey the pipes, evaluate the severity of the problem and if needed reshape and reline them.

The solution

Glanville Environmental carried out a CCTV survey on the pipe runs and the full extent of the problem was then known. Due to the poor condition and deformations in the lines we suggested re rounding and inserting a new lining into the pipe. This no dig method was essential in this case as the pipe is running under a busy highway.

 

The result

The pipes were re rounded and strengthened with the new lining, this also repaired any other major defects and smoothed out displaced joints. The site was then reinstated and left looking as good as new.
